Umamaheswar (Mahesh) Charabudla is a seasoned technology leader with over 21 years of experience in building large-scale solutions for businesses across multiple channels and layers. He is currently working as a Principal SWE Manager at Microsoft, Hyderabad, where he leads a team of senior engineers to develop cutting-edge technologies. Mahesh is a technology evangelist with expertise in architecture, design, and full-stack development. He specializes in building hybrid and native apps, mobile and desktop web applications, backend APIs, and continuous deployment. He is an excellent team leader who fosters collaboration and innovation to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. Before joining Microsoft, Mahesh worked as the Head of Engineering for the Quikr Goods Vertical at Quikr, where he led the technology team for Quikr Doorstep and QuikrX. He was instrumental in launching the QuikrX Marketplace across iOS, Android, mweb, and desktop in just five weeks. He also designed and implemented a real-time inventory and price algorithm for the seller console. Mahesh has also worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Walmart, where he was responsible for architecting the Walmart global e-commerce health and wellness platform. He led large projects for pharmacy web services for mobile apps and front-end using Spring, Maven, and Gradle. He was the driving force behind designing complete end-to-end solutions, including front-end, middleware, and backend. Mahesh holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Osmania University. He is a software engineer with expertise in CI/CD, mobile, P2P, backend, web, Android, iOS, frontend, and Spring.
